After Winning the 2021-22 Majors Title in the Peninsula Soccer League's final season, SSFAC was in search of a new place to play after having been a part of the PSL since 1957. They sorted out their options and then joined the Southwest Premier League, entering into the 10 team Pacific Premier Division.
