SSFAC defeated Outsiderz 4-0 Sunday to notch their 3rd victory in a row after an opening day loss. Gareth Lea scored twice, and Bobby Quinlan & Leo Monterio each tallied once to lead South City. Fabio Marques assisted twice and Varney Johnson and Hany Helmy also recorded an assist. Midfield play was again South City's strength, and the defense did a great job as the team recorded their 1st shutout of the season with great play from Ever Alvarez, Scott Ellis, Reuben Wartens & Ruben Salazar. Abner Ramos earned the shutout making some key saves in the 2nd half. Blair Smith helped lead the attack up front with ball possession that led to many chances for the offense. SSFAC hopes to continue its run with an important match vs FC Palo Alto at Terra Bay Park next week
