SSFAC improved its record to 3-0 by downing CLC Sporting 3-1. Two goals from Adam Dhanens and a full time clincher from Gareth Lea provided South City with the offense they needed while the defense turned in yet another terrific effort in keeping CLC off target in their attempts to score.....the only goal coming from a penalty kick. Paul Pavich was again the dominant leader at the center back position, and he received support from Reuben Wartens, Scott Ellis, Shane Kutaka and Jack Orr. The strong defensive showing has enabled SSF to press forward in attack and also put pressure on the opposition forwards. Blair Smith tallied 2 assists and helped create chances for his teammates. Pedro Crispin, Leandro Monteiro, Omar Nawabi, and Andrew Elliott keep up the pace on the wings and took the pressure off the middle of the pitch allowing Gareth Lea and Jack Orr to maintain control. Adrian Monroy had a fairly easy day in the nets as he recorded his 3rd victory for the club. SSF returns to action next week when they meet Outsiderz FC at Burlingame High School
