Game Comments:

Two first half goals, one each from Adam Dhanens and Blair Smith, proved to be enough as South City held off a late push from Outsiderz FC to collect a 2-1 win at Burlingame High School. It was SSFAC's 4th victory to start the season. Solid defensive play from Paul Pavich, Jack Orr and Reuben Wartens was instrumental in holding Outsiderz to only 5 shots on goal, while SSF dominated midfield play and generated a total of 28 shots at the Outisiderz. The goal total would have been more if not for the solid play of the Outsiderz goal keeper. Bobby Quinlan, Gareth Lea, Omar Nawabi, Shane Kutaka, Pedro Crispin and Leandro Monteiro all turned in solid efforts as the team keep constant pressure on Outsiderz all match. South City now faces a big challenge as they head to Half Moon Bay next week to face PCC.
