SSFAC came out strong in this very intense battle, opening a 2-0 lead with 2 goals from Franz Tschimben, however the league leaders pushed back with 4 unanswered goals to pull ahead 4-2. South City showed why this year they are a different team as they fought back and cut the lead to 4-3 when Eric Holman hit a cracker of a shot from outside the box to make it interesting. The boys applied a lot of pressure in the final 10 minutes but were unlucky in coming up with the equalizing goal. This week SSFAC take on their rival Santa Clara Sporting in another pivotal game.
