Defeating a team 3 times within the course of a season is a very tough task, so last evenings 1-1 tie with JASA Dos on JASA's home field was a very positive accomplishment. South City started strong as they usually do and took the lead when Spencer MacDonald scored in the 32nd minute with an assist from Greg Hui. Both teams then battled hard and toe to toe as each side tried to take hold of the match. JASA managed to equalize in the 75th minute and it was game on.
SSF had a wonderful chance to squeak out the win, but a corner kick in the waning moments was cleared off the line by JASA to preserve the tie. It was a complete team effort from the boys of South City as they continue to play at an amazing level. They worked hard to get the result after JASA pulled even, which is a testament to their work ethic and team first attitude.
