Martin started playing soccer at the age of 4 when his Grandpa took him to training once a week. When he was 7 years old, he joined an eleven a side team...St Peters Boys Club. The team played in the Paisley & District League, and when Martin turned 13 years old he joined East End United. They were a fairly good side and they won the Paisley & District League numerous times which led to the team moving into the Western Scotland League at U17's.
Martin then moved to Australia when he was 22 years old and played for Brighton SC. He played in the State 3 Southeastern Conference and won it 2 years later.
Eventually, Martin made it to California and South San Francisco where he joined up with SSFAC. He is a gifted player and helps anchor the teams defense. His passion, and dedication to the club has made a huge difference, and his example and work ethic is the driving force behind South City's push towards the top of the table. Martin has also joined the Coaching ranks as he is now an Assistant Coach for SSFAC. |
